Quick verdict
The Gweike Cloud Pro II is a fully enclosed desktop CO2 laser with a 50W glass tube, a 510 x 300 mm bed, and the chiller, air assist compressor and exhaust fan all built in. Gweike lists it at $1,659 with a rotary included, which is a lot of machine for the money next to a Glowforge. Rated speed is 600 mm/s and Gweike's spec table claims 15 mm basswood cuts. The catch right now is availability: the US store shows it sold out. The software side is also less smooth than the hardware, with the browser app slower than the offline app or LightBurn.
What you still need
A window or wall vent for the exhaust hose (or a fume filter if you cannot vent outside), CO2-rated safety glasses for alignment and maintenance with the lid open, a LightBurn licence if you want it (Gweike does not say one is included), and eventually a replacement glass tubeMaterial reality check
Cuts wood, plywood, MDF, acrylic (clear and colored), leather, paper, cardboard, fabric and cork; engraves glass, stone, anodized aluminum and coated metal. It cannot cut metal and cannot mark bare metal without a marking spray. Never cut PVC or vinyl: the chlorine gas attacks the machine and your lungs.Better alternative if
you want a 55W CO2 with a more polished app that you can order today: xTool P2SScores

Pros and cons
Why we like it
- Water chiller, air assist compressor and exhaust fan are all built in, so there is no external plumbing to buy
- Rotary included in the price, which most rivals sell as an extra
- 5MP wide-angle camera plus autofocus for placing designs on scrap and odd shapes
- LightBurn support alongside Gweike's own offline software
- Takes items up to 51 mm tall with the honeycomb tray removed
Watch out for
- Shown as sold out on Gweike's US store, as are the 55W and RF tube versions
- Gweike's browser software runs jobs slower than the offline app or LightBurn
- Heavy at 42.6 kg and the exhaust hose needs a route to a window
- Glass tube is a consumable, rated at about 10,000 hours
- Proprietary controller: owner threads on the LightBurn forum report Z height and connection quirks
