Quick verdict
The TTC3018 Pro is TwoTrees' slightly upgraded 3018: same 300 x 180 x 40mm working area and T8 lead screws as the base TTC3018, but with a metal Z-axis module and an MKS DLC32 Grbl_ESP32 board that adds Wi-Fi and TF card jobs. The spindle is a 775 brushed motor at roughly 8000 RPM, and TwoTrees rates the whole machine at 33W, so this is an engraver and light router, not a mill. At $199 it is a cheap way to learn CAM, workholding and feeds on wood, acrylic and PCB. Plan to outgrow it if you want to cut aluminum or anything thicker than 40mm.
Who this fits best
Beginners who want the cheapest sensible way to learn CNC basics on wood, plastic and PCB engraving
Buy this if
Beginners who want the cheapest sensible way to learn CNC basics on wood, plastic and PCB engraving. $199 gets a complete, GRBL-based 3018 with a metal Z-axis module instead of the plastic one on the base TTC3018.
Skip this if
775 brushed motor at about 8000 RPM is weak; TwoTrees rates the whole machine at 33W, and only 40mm of Z travel limits thicker stock and longer bits.
What else you still need
A set of decent 3.175mm shank end mills and V-bits (the end mill bundle is $298), clamps or a spoilboard, eye protection, and a shop vac. Many owners also budget for TwoTrees' 500W spindle upgrade kit or the TC20 laser module.
Material reality check
Good for soft woods, MDF, acrylic, PVC, wax and single-sided PCB isolation milling. Brass and aluminum sheet are possible only as very shallow engraving; the 775 motor and lead-screw frame will chatter and stall on real pocketing in metal.

Where it wins
- $199 gets a complete, GRBL-based 3018 with a metal Z-axis module instead of the plastic one on the base TTC3018
- Built-in Wi-Fi and TF card mean you can run jobs without a laptop tethered over USB
- Plug-and-play TC20 laser module option turns it into a small laser engraver
- Standard GRBL G-code, so Easel, Fusion 360 and Carveco toolpaths run as-is
- Light and small enough (6.8 kg) to live on a shelf and come out for a job
Where it falls short
- 775 brushed motor at about 8000 RPM is weak; TwoTrees rates the whole machine at 33W
- Only 40mm of Z travel limits thicker stock and longer bits
- T8 lead screws and a light aluminum and Bakelite frame flex in anything harder than wood or plastic
- TwoTrees' own listing contains copy-paste errors (a 600 x 500mm area and pet sensors), so read the spec table, not the feature blurbs
- Rated accuracy is 0.1mm, fine for engraving and PCBs, not for precision parts
