Finishing my Custom CNC Router Build + First Cuts
This video concludes the Frankenoko build series, showing the final assembly, wiring, and first test cuts of a custom CNC router built on a heavily modified Shapeoko platform. The creator demonstrates cuts in both wood and acrylic, confirming the machine is functional while noting remaining tasks like tramming the spindle. The project offers insights into DIY CNC design decisions, custom frame construction, and the practical challenges of building a machine from scratch.
