Overview

SpeTool's ZrN-coated 1/8-inch single flute end mill is designed specifically for cutting aluminum and other non-ferrous metals on hobby CNC machines. The ZrN (Zirconium Nitride) coating reduces friction and prevents aluminum from welding to the cutting edge, which is the biggest challenge when machining aluminum. The single flute design provides maximum chip evacuation, critical for metal cutting.
