Overview

SpeTool's TiAlN-coated 3-flute end mill is engineered for demanding hardwood applications. The TiAlN (Titanium Aluminum Nitride) coating increases hardness and heat resistance, allowing the bit to maintain sharpness much longer in abrasive hardwoods. The coating also reduces friction, resulting in cleaner cuts and less burning in species like maple that are prone to heat marks.
